Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde
Number of Words: 809 / Number of Pages: 3
... evil, he is symbolically represented as being much smaller than Dr. Jekyll.
I believe Dr. Jekyll created Hyde because he had a theory that man has a good side and a bad side. While investigating this, he developed a potion that could release the evil in a person in the form of a totally different person. Then this person could commit any evil act it wanted, and then drink the potion to return back to normal. The only problem with this is the fact that he drank this potion so many times, he was no longer able to control this process. He was unable to transform back into Dr. Jekyll.

At this point, beginning to realize the firm was not all that it was cracked up to be in holding up the high moral standards they set for others and themselves, Mitchell was beginning to get a different sense of the firm. Mitchell was also told by the FBI agent, Terrance, that the firm kept a close eye on all parts of their employees' lives. ... at breakfast. He went
to throw the salt- cellar over his left shoulder to cancel the bad luck,
but Miss Watson stopped him. All day he wondered when something would fall
on him and what it would be. This all implies that Huck thinks something
is going to fall on him, because of his accident. I have heard about bad
luck from spilling salt so I think this Superstition started in the North
or maybe it was just popular and spread quickly. I do not believe there is
hardly any fact at all to this. Huck believes in this probably because of
the way he grew up.
Jim said when young chickens flew a yard ...

... on the train, in which Kumalo had
been treated with immense respect. On the train he is aware of the respect that
other blacks hold for him, because he is a man of God, though, in the city, his
social standing demonstrates little significance. This may be taken as a sign
that the idea of a God may be questioned or less acceptable to the people, when
they have positions in a society that are cruel and not beneficial.
Kumalo does find assistance when he asks for help from an older man, who
kindly escorts him to the Mission House. The contrast that Paton creates here is
the fact that not all blacks ...

Products such as the laptop computer and Sony Walkman highly foreshadow the undeveloped form of the portable objects of the future.
In the coming millennium, I believe that economic power will dominate military power. Japan will lead in the new economic order, over America and Europe, because of the technological products they will manufacture and release in the market. Already Japan has mass produced high-tec ...
